Firefly class...

I get a lot of strange types through here, but the strangers yet by far was this odd gang dressed like they were ready to ranch--or for a firefight. Middle aged man, woman who seemed to see him as her superior although i didn't see any sort of rank badges that they are so fond of in the army. Odd man too, the usual rough type, had an iron on his hip, and probably something bigger in his coat under his arm. And don't even get me started on the odd couple, a twenty year old high class fellow that looked way out of place in an establishment such as mine, and what seemed to be his sister, a twitchy little girl about the age of one of the tavern girls, kept looking around as if she saw things we normal mortals didn't. Talked to herself a lot too. Came in on a Fire Fly class transport, beat up old model i haven't seen since before the boarder wars. Talked up the "Captain" a bit, and he told me that he was some war hero or some such, and that if i was interested that much in him, i could look on the local data net for the show Firefly. Took one look and fell in love. Trust me, so will you. A damn good mixture of western and Sci-fi, so good in fact, that you wont notice when they go from one to another. I hope you enjoy Firefly just as much as i did.

A moments entertainment....

Well you worthless maggots, tell me, what is it you do in your spare time, other then festoon in my tavern and annoy the honest folk as they try to enjoy a night out. Play games do you? What kind of games, there's thousands out there, board and digital (i still think its witch craft me self). Digital you say? Well il be, looks like we share a thing or two on common, more suprising then i thought possable. Got a particuar? Rpg? RTS's? FPS's? OOHHH, did you hear about that brand spanking new game, this PLANETSIDE 2 that's in beta? My good friend and owner of the circuit smiths says its gonna be one hell of a show when it finally makes landfall. Imagine, if you will, an entire planet, one constant running server, like an RTS almost, but played in real time, as an FPS. Global conquest is the name of the game, where you battle with other factions for the control of districts, leading to continents, and eventually, the entire planet. One huge game, constantly going on, with everything ranging from foot solders to heavily armored battle mechs armed with mini guns, and rockets.And don't even get me started on the vehicular. PLANETSIDE 2 is going to make a big splash when it comes out, you can count on that. But, if your lucky, and you have the hardware for it, you can sign up for the beta. Just look up Planetside 2, and im sure the website will be the very first to pop up. See you on the battlefield!

Mighty Fine Ale...

Been cooking up quite a few treats as of late, making food that would satisfy a king, everything from sweet and sour chicken to Giant kit kat bars. I know it dosent sound like much from where you stand, but i like what i have made, and im sure you would too. These are creative foods, in simple ways, turning 5 dollars worth of ingreadants into 20 bucks worth of food. Starving artist? No trouble, this tavern Keeper has learned a way to make that soupy old ramen into something ten times better. Want to outwit the pastry chef? Never thought of cookie dough AND brownies at the same time did ya? Dark Heresy 101

Ay mate! Come, sit your self down and learn a thing or two about the great game Dark Heresy. Lets say you want to be that famose hero that stormed the enemy base, cracking heads and making a kill with each shot, or that you want to be psyker, able to turn you enemy's minds to jelly with just a glare or a smile. This game is all about combat, and investigation. First you must know who your enemy is to defeat him. You cant just go around bashing random people heads in! Nay, in this game, you arnt on the front lines, slogging through mud and dodging shells, in this game, you are hunting the corrupt and the wicked among the very people you swear to protect. Its not all about the flashy kill, if you learn who your friends and enemy's are, you can call on an entire city, nay, an entire star system, just to hunt down one man or woman. In this game, talking is just as potent a weapon as the sword or the gun. More about this great game soon to come.

RE-OPENING!

The shop has been closed for a bit, dust collected in the corners, and the spiders learned how to use the the fireplace without burning down the place.
